Claire Accuhair Wigs has been in business since 1960 or 64 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Human hair wigs and lace front wigs
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I apprenticed in the wig making profession as a 12 year old girl in post war Germany. When I came to America I realized that the wigs worn here were substandard and that I could manufacture a far superior product. Orthodox religious Jewish women are required to cover their hair and they are excited about wearing a stunning wig that's light and fits beautifully.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are fully capable of manufacturing every part of the human hair wig in our own factory in the USA. Our experience with over 10,000 human hair wigs has taught us to fit a wig so that it is comfortable all day and light on the head better than anybody else.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 central location where we are capable of any repairs, styling as needed for the customer.
