How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was influenced by my brother Vito, a well known & successful Manhattan antiques dealer. I sold antiques for 26 years & switched over to Mid-Century Modern furniture & lighting, which was always my passion.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I have a quick turn over of merchandise since my prices are less than most others & the quality & condition of my furniture is exceptional. I carry Paul McCobb, Eero Saarinen, Milo Baughman, Hans Wegner, etc.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have a small shop which is more than enough for me to handle at the moment, but am considering adding a much larger space this year.
