Thrifty Beverages at 990 McDonald Avenue has been in business for over 50 years at the same location.
What is your primary product or service?
All services related to beverage sales. Beverages include craft beer, specialty beer, imported beer, domestic beer, soft drinks, energy drinks, and beverages from all the major distributors. We are one of the largest bottle and can recycle centers in New York City.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Thrifty Beverages in its third generation of ownership. It is a family owned and operated business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in what we sell and can offer advice on any of our beverages. We also can help with beverage orders for large parties and we are a wholesale and retail provider of beverages selling to many of our local retailers. Our recycling center will have you in and out quickly.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two recycling locations and one beverage location.
