Brooklyn Children Basketball Association
BCBA, established in 1984 is celebrating it's 30th Anniversary.
BCBA has been administering and coordinating the activities of basketball leagues,clinics and camps for boys and girls ages 5 thur 17 for 30 years. BCBA runs coaches clinics and BCBA's efforts and coordination, support projects like the 'Smiles for Shannon' cancer fund which supports the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Pediatric Day Hospital and the Frankie's Mission which helps families when they reach an out of control financial crisis due to the overwhelming nature of their child’s illness and medical care.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've always been part of a sports program. Ever since I was a small boy my Dad and other men in the parish ran a sports program. I started coaching as a way of giving back and I just started coaching, running summer programs, leagues and clinics. All with the purpose of teaching sports especially basketball to children.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?

We currently have 30 parishes playing in BCBA. We are expanding to other areas of the City.
