Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
Since 1993! We were pioneers in the alternative and holistic therapy movement, first beginning with therapeutic massage, soon after adding acupuncture and yoga classes.
What is your primary product or service?
Massage therapy of all types is the primary service at Natural Balance, with a specialty in deep tissue and Oriental massage techniques.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Since childhood, I was drawn to healing, medicine, and the power of the mind/body connection. After many years in corporate work, I decided to follow my passion and pursue a career in massage therapy, at which time I established Natural Balance Massage & Wellness Center, to empower others towards healthy living and natural self-care.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We differentiate Natural Balance Massage & Wellness Center by offering clients only those services and products we truly believe will bring about genuine results and improvement. We also place a very strong emphasis on client relations and a spiritual approach to our work.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
There is only one Natural Balance Massage & Wellness Center but we have been approached numerous times to replicate our unique environment elsewhere. When the right fit and opportunity becomes available, we might consider an additional location.
