The Shadow Box Theatre is a musical puppet theatre who's hallmark is shadow puppetry mainly performing for young audiences. In addition, depending on the production they also use three dimensional puppets. They have been performing for 49 years. They have a three pronged program: 1. Full cast children's musical puppet shows, that perform home based at PS 3 in Brooklyn as well as in other venues in NYC with their two major productions of African Drum and the dance puppet production of Earth & Me, as well as two person productions (puppeteer and musician) that travel. 2. Puppet and Arts in Education Workshops for both children and adults. 3. See-More's Workshop which sells Books & companion Read-Aloud - Move-Along audio of their productions, as well as videos, and audios of the shows. They are an award winning children's theatre.
