Gillies Coffee Co; one of the USA’s oldest business enterprises, was founded in 1840, and is America's oldest coffee merchant: roasting and blending Whole Beans & Custom Blends, Origin and Estate Coffees, Espresso, Decaffeinated, Fair Trade, Free Trade, Direct Trade and over 200 Flavored blends. Also Green Coffee to Roasting Retailers and Teas worth throwing a party for. Star-K Kosher Certified. Certified Organic Facilities. I grew up surrounded by the smells of Mochas and Javas; cupping at 11, and roasting at 14. I have been at Gillies since 1963 - DNS
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Gillies Coffee Co., America's Oldest Coffee Merchant is a small, local, family operated business, founded in New York in 1840, and located in "South Slope" for about a quarter-century. We make coffees of high merit for professionals who appreciate our sensitivity to their wants, and the taste sensations that we achieve in the beverages that are the product of the beans we bring to market.
